[A deaf man and a dumb man's secret hiding]IDX

There were a deaf man and a dumb man.
Both were trying to hide one's own defect from each other.

One day, the deaf man met the dumb man,
and asked the latter to sing for him to listen.

The dumb man apparantly knew that the requestor was deaf.
Therefore, (he just) had his mouth open and close repeatedly.
(He) also clapped his hands (in singing).
(He) let the requestor see the way as if he was really singing.

The deaf man scooped his ear on purpose to (pretend to be) listening.
But he could only see the dumb man's mouth in motion continuously.
Then he said aloud:
"It sounds good. It sounds good.
For long I have not heard you sing.
 But today after hearing it,
you seem to sing better than ever."
