[Roman] | [Chinese] | [Roman] | [Chinese] | [English] [Foolishness beyond description]IDX Long ago in some place there were two brothers. The elder brother was very sly while the youger one was foolish. One day the two brothers were discussing about brewing the wine. The youger brother asked the elder one: "As we are chipping in to brew the wine, what are you going to offer? Also what shall I offer?" The elder brother replied him: "You should offer the rice, and I will offer the water." The youger brother was foolish, knowing nothing at all. Thinking a while, he said: "(If we) brew the wine in this way, when the brewed wine is ready, how do (we) divide it? It's better to have it settled (now)." The elder brother then said: "This is (apparantly) something well known before (your) asking. I offer the water, so the water (of the brewed wine) should belong to me. The rest of it is your share." The youger brother was foolish and said: "So I see. I asked you because I didn't know it. Hearing you say so, now I know it. It's very fair." At that moment people overhearing (the conversation) on the side, upon hearing the word, were amazed and got speechless. Everybody could only look at one another face to face in awe.
