[The public shoes]IDX

There were two full brothers.
Both chipped in money to buy a pair of (public) shoes.

The elder brother wore the shoes in the day, and went out every day.
(He) either paid a visit to his friends or went to feasts (as guest).

The younger brother got very unhappy in heart.
(He) then had an idea.
Every night he wore the shoes,
and, for all night, kept walking around and around in the backyard.

In this way, seveal days passed.
The shoes had got too worn out to wear any more.

Again the elder brother wanted the younger one to chip in money.
(He) said:
"Let's buy one more pair of shoes, shall we?"

The younger brother said:
"You can just go buy it by yourself.
Now I don't like to wear (the shoes at night) any more.
 I have to sleep (now).
My God, I feel so sleepy..."
