"Si300" is the nick name of the Shi-Jing in in China. Shi-Jing in old time was called to Shi-King, and in more old time was called to Shi-Kieyng, and in more old time was called to Shi-Kiayng or Shi-Keayng, and in more old time, we can't know that now. "Jing" means the "vertical line" and "the Bible", indivisual base line, and the books of Chinese (Confusianism) basic letters. There were counted to 5 or 9 or 13. Si-Jing is a one of that. 1:Yi: wold wide logics, 2:Shu: the empelors anthologies, 3:Shi: older poets to East-Chiu dynasty, 4:Li: common scences, 5:Chun-Chiu: history in East-Chiu dynasty. The "Lao-Zi" was called to "the 5000 Words". But we can't know that the book have 5000 or more or few some now. The "Shi" was called to "the 300 Chapters", or "305", "311". now we can read the 305 chapters of that, and can look the 311 titles of that. 311 - 305 = 6. The 6 was losed or we think that there had more or most musical essencial styles especialy, or perhaps only have the different styles of languages. 305 - 5 = 300. The last of "Shi" are the 5 chapters in Shang dynasty. The Zhou government and the China had lost so many corrections of scripts in earier dynasties and the knowledges about them. Jing texts was devided to "old" and "new" letters, in Qin and Han dynasties. The "Shi" have 4 texts to Han. The 3(CountryJi+CountryLu+DrHan) was the 3 branches of the scholars, and 1(DrMao) is the "old" text. Now we can only read the 305 all in the "old" text. The 1 was called to "Mao-Shi", because the text was kept by Dr.Mao and his students. This set was made to read Chinese letters but use the Japanese code for type it. (And used the UniCode num_s with &#; a little). Japanese codes have 3 types. 1:JIS: Japanese Industorial Socification (cf:iso-2022-jp) 2:EUC: One of the UniCode Japanese (euc-jp) 3:SJIS: Microsoft Shift_JIS Japanese (sjis,Shift_JIS) This set use the Shift_JIS Japanese codes and their added areas by Microsoft. If you have the Microsoft Windows 95 or Windows 98 or Windows NT, I can give some advices for you to viewing of this set. IE (InternetExplore) 3.x and 4.x each have their IELPK(IE LanguagePowerUpKit) by MS Eura. When you can get the Ie?LpkJA.Cab, you must extract that on your disk and right click their *.Inf and select "install". After a re-starting, you can view this set by the IE or the Netscape. (IE3LPKJA.EXE is for 3.x, IELPKJA.CAB is for 4.x). Or if you download a complete archive of the IME for IE4, you install that and reinstall the IME, perhaps you can get only a registory of the IELPK font. file formating : MSDOS/Windows palne text ; HTML version : HTML(HyperTextMarkUpLanguage)4.0 Transitional( and Frames) with CSS(CascadingStyleSheet)Level 1 ; character code : Microsoft Shift_JIS code Level 1 Level 2 and a additional char area Monochrome and 16colors GIF images (used the numbers from A-I_Net KomJakMojikyo to filenames); Main Files : Frame Main Si_frm.htm Main Index Si_idx.htm [have linked titles of all 305 chapters] Default center Si_tit.htm [click the (p) on right side of upper title] Default right Si_rds.htm [click the (r) on same] Upper Side Si_ttl.htm [can scroll the index and get 2 defaults] Main 305 files Si???.htm [SI001.htm-Si305.htm + It1.htm-It5.htm] images in each sub directories Img/*.* Please MailTo:benzo@po.cnet-sc.ne.jp-} benzo15824@yahoo.co.jp or post your mails for: Midzuno 281-52, Sayama-city, Saitama, 350-1300 Japan.
